Claude Code Marketing Automation: The System I Run Every Morning for 14 Products

Most people install Claude Code, write a few scripts, close the terminal, and think of it as a coding tool. I use it to run the marketing for around 14 launched products, and I spend about 20 minutes a day doing it.
That is the honest version. Claude Code drafts my Facebook and LinkedIn posts, finds the X threads where founders ask for product recommendations and writes a reply for each of my businesses, and queues 10 LinkedIn connection requests every weekday with a DM ready to paste. I open a set of local dashboards in the morning, read what it wrote, fix anything that sounds off, and hit send by hand. Nothing posts automatically. Ever.
This post is the actual system, not a list of things Claude Code could theoretically do. If you have been reading the generic "automate your entire marketing department" articles and wondering where the real workflow is, this is that workflow. I covered the whole thing live on July 7, the three repos are included, and you can install your first one the same afternoon you watch it: watch the full replay, available instantly.
What is Claude Code marketing automation, and why is it not just for coders?
Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic tool that lives in your terminal. It reads files on your machine, runs commands, and can call outside tools. Everyone talks about it writing code because that is what it was built for, but the same three abilities that make it good at code make it good at marketing: it reads your existing writing, it produces real files you can use, and it runs the same routine every day without getting bored. The full capability list is in the official Claude Code documentation.
Marketing automation with Claude Code means handing it the repetitive parts of promotion, the drafting and the finding and the organizing, while you keep the judgment and the send button. It is not a SaaS product. There is no dashboard you log into and no monthly tool bill. It is Claude Code plus a few markdown instruction files plus some local HTML pages that display what it drafted. You own every file.
The reason this matters for a solo founder is simple. I have products that were going completely unmarketed because I did not have time to write daily posts for all of them. The bottleneck was never ideas. It was the blank compose box, five times over, every morning. Claude Code fills the box. I still decide what actually goes out.
How do I use Claude Code for marketing without being a developer?
You describe what you want in plain English and Claude Code does the technical part. If you can write a brief for a freelancer, you can run this. My whole setup was built by pasting a kickoff prompt into Claude Code along with samples of my own writing and a short description of each business, then answering its follow-up questions.
The one concept worth learning is the instruction file. Claude Code reads a CLAUDE.md file at the start of every session, and it reads separate skill files for specific jobs. These are plain markdown. You write down your voice rules, your product facts, and your do-not-do list once, and every future session follows them. When Claude gets something wrong, you patch the file and the fix carries forward. That is the entire programming skill you need. You are editing text, not writing software.
For the heavier work, Claude Code can spin up separate workers that each handle one job in their own context and report back. In my X workflow, that means one pass can scan a batch of threads and draft a tailored reply for each business without the main session drowning in noise. Anthropic calls these subagents.
The three workflows I run every single day
Here is the real system. Three separate workflows, each producing drafts I review in a local dashboard.
Social posts queue
Every morning this generates fresh Facebook and LinkedIn post drafts in my voice, one batch per property. The dashboard shows each draft with a one-click copy button, tracks what I have already posted, and dedupes so I am not shipping the same angle twice in a week. I read down the list, kill the weak ones, tighten one or two, and copy the keepers into each platform myself.
X reply dashboard
This is the one that would take hours by hand. Claude Code finds the "drop your product" and "what are you building" threads on X where people are actively asking to discover new tools, then drafts a reply for each relevant business I run, written in that business's voice. I get a queue of context-aware replies to review. I delete the ones that do not fit, keep the ones that add something real, and reply from my own account.
LinkedIn DM outreach
Every weekday it queues 10 ideal-customer connections with a short, personal DM ready to paste. Not a spray of generic "let's connect" messages. Each one is drafted against who the person actually is. I send them by hand, spaced out, like a human would.
None of these tools comparison-shops well as a table, so here is the honest summary in one line each. Social posts queue: daily drafts in your voice. X reply dashboard: a founder-voiced reply per business on the right threads. LinkedIn DM outreach: 10 warm, personalized connections a day. Together they are the marketing team that runs while I sleep, and the review takes about 20 minutes over coffee.
If building and customizing systems like these is the kind of thing you want ready-made instead of assembled from scratch, that is most of what you get inside the Reinventing AI Accelerator.
How do I stop Claude Code from sounding like AI?
This is the question that decides whether any of it is usable, and most guides skip it entirely. AI-drafted marketing that sounds like AI is worse than no marketing, because your audience learns to scroll past you.
The fix is a voice file. Each workflow writes against a markdown file built from your real writing samples, so the drafts inherit your actual sentence rhythm instead of the default AI cadence. Just as important, the voice file carries a banned-phrase list. Words like game-changer, unlock, supercharge, and excited to announce are on mine. When a draft still sounds off, I do not rewrite it and move on. I add the offending phrase to the ban list, and it never comes back in any workflow again.
That banned list is the compounding part. Six months in, the drafts sound like me because every AI-tell I ever noticed has already been filtered out. Bring 5 to 10 samples of your own writing to start, and the voice file gets sharper every week you use it.
Why nothing auto-posts, and why that keeps your accounts safe
I get asked why I do not just let it publish. Two reasons, and they are not negotiable in my setup.
First, safety. Platforms suspend accounts that behave like bots. Every post and DM in my system is sent by a human hand, spaced naturally, which is exactly what keeps the accounts healthy. Second, trust. The moment your audience catches an auto-posted, slightly-wrong AI message going out under your name, you have spent credibility you cannot easily earn back. AI does the busywork. I hit send. That division of labor is the whole design, and it is why I am comfortable running it across every product I own.
Honest admission: this means the system does not run entirely without me, and I would not want it to. The 20 minutes is real and it is daily. What it replaced was three to four hours of me staring at compose boxes and usually giving up.
How to set up your first Claude Code marketing workflow in an afternoon
You do not need all three at once. Start with one.
Install Claude Code (it is free to install; you need a Claude subscription or API access) and, for the X and LinkedIn workflows, Chrome with the free Claude extension.
Pick your single most repetitive marketing task. For most solo founders that is daily social posts.
Gather 5 to 10 samples of your best writing and a plain description of the product.
Paste a kickoff prompt into Claude Code with those samples and let it build your voice file and the workflow. Answer its questions.
Run it once, review the drafts, and start your ban list the first time something sounds like AI.
Get one workflow producing drafts you would actually send, then add the second. Trying to stand up all three on day one is how people quit. The compounding value is in running one every day for two weeks and watching the drafts get better as your instruction files sharpen.
Watch the full build (replay available now)
I walked through this entire system live, installing at least one workflow on attendees' machines before the session ended. That was on July 7, so you can follow along and have your first workflow drafting in your voice today. The copy-paste kickoff prompts, the voice-file setup, and the local dashboards are all included: watch the replay and grab the three repos.
If you want this alongside the rest of the library, the accelerator includes this training and the repos plus the full vault of AI apps, agents, and automations and the ongoing live sessions. It is a monthly membership and you can cancel anytime. No pressure, just the honest option if you would rather have a shelf of working systems than build each one from zero: join the Reinventing AI Accelerator.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know how to code to use Claude Code for marketing?
No. Everything is described in plain language and the setup is copy-paste. You paste a kickoff prompt, answer a few questions, and Claude Code builds your workflow and voice file. The only editing you do is updating markdown instruction files, which reads like writing notes to yourself.
Will Claude Code post to my social accounts automatically?
Not in the system I run, by deliberate design. Claude Code drafts and organizes; you review and send everything by hand. That keeps your accounts safe from bot-like behavior and keeps you in control of everything published under your name.
How do I keep the posts from sounding like generic AI?
Use a voice file built from your own writing samples plus a banned-phrase list. The drafts inherit your real cadence, and every time something sounds off you add the phrase to the ban list so it never returns. The output gets more like you the longer you use it.
How much time does running marketing through Claude Code actually take?
About 20 minutes a day for me across all my products: open the dashboards, read the drafts, delete the weak ones, tighten a couple, and send. The drafting and thread-finding happen before I sit down. The daily cost is the review, not the writing.
Can one person really market this many products this way?
That is the entire point of the setup. The reason products go unmarketed is time, not ideas. By moving the drafting and discovery to Claude Code and keeping only the judgment and the send button for yourself, one founder can keep many products visible without hiring a team or paying for a stack of tools.
